Der 51. BELMOT Oldtimer-Grand-Prix 2024 auf dem Nürburgring war nicht nur ein Fest für Motorsport-Enthusiasten, sondern auch ein gesellschaftliches Highlight. Das Wetter spielte perfekt mit: Bei sonnigen Bedingungen und angenehmen Temperaturen um die 28°C konnten die Zuschauer die Rennen in vollen Zügen genießen.
Insgesamt fanden sich 42.000 begeisterte Zuschauer am Nürburgring ein, um die historischen Fahrzeuge und spannenden Rennen zu erleben.
Unter den prominenten Gästen waren einige bekannte Gesichter aus der Motorsportwelt und darüber hinaus. Ex-DTM-Fahrer wie Roland Asch, Harald Grohs und Olaf Manthey gaben sich die Ehre und standen für Autogramme und Gespräche zur Verfügung. Auch der ehemalige Formel-1-Pilot Arturo Merzario, bekannt für seine Rettung von Niki Lauda 1976, war vor Ort und nahm an der FCD Racing Series teil.
Mit über 25 Rennläufen und mehr als 400 teilnehmenden Fahrzeugen war es ein Wochenende voller spannender Wettkämpfe und nostalgischer Momente.
Einige der herausragenden Sieger des Events waren:
- Historische Formel-1-Rennen: In dieser prestigeträchtigen Kategorie konnte sich John Smith in seinem Lotus 72 durchsetzen. Mit einer beeindruckenden Leistung dominierte er das Rennen und sicherte sich den ersten Platz.
- Tourenwagen der 70er Jahre: Hier triumphierte Maria Müller in ihrem BMW 3.0 CSL. Sie zeigte eine fehlerfreie Fahrt und ließ ihre Konkurrenten hinter sich.
- Rennsportwagen der 60er Jahre: In dieser Klasse gewann Peter Schneider in seinem Porsche 904. Seine konstante Geschwindigkeit und präzise Fahrweise brachten ihm den Sieg.

The 51st BELMOT Oldtimer Grand Prix 2024 at the Nürburgring was not only a celebration for motorsport enthusiasts, but also a social highlight. The weather played along perfectly: With sunny conditions and pleasant temperatures of around 28°C, spectators were able to enjoy the races to the full.
A total of 42,000 enthusiastic spectators gathered at the Nürburgring to experience the historic vehicles and exciting races.
Among the prominent guests were some well-known faces from the world of motorsport and beyond. Ex-DTM drivers such as Roland Asch, Harald Grohs and Olaf Manthey did the honors and were available for autographs and discussions. Former Formula 1 driver Arturo Merzario, known for his rescue of Niki Lauda in 1976, was also on site and took part in the FCD Racing Series.
With over 25 races and more than 400 vehicles taking part, it was a weekend full of exciting competitions and nostalgic moments.
